The largest graduating class in WPI's history, 1,680 students, received their degrees beneath a large, billowing tent that shielded graduates and well-wishers from the sun that occasionally peeked from behind generally cloudy skies. In all, the Institute awarded 956 bachelor's degrees, 682 master's degrees, and 42 PhDs during its 147th Commencement exercises.

Bucknell University has released the dean's list for outstanding academic achievement during the 2015 spring semester.

Over 1400 students were named to the Dean's List at York College of Pennsylvania. To be eligible for this honor, a student must be registered for at least 12 academic credit hours and earn a semester GPA of 3.50 or higher.

SUNY Oneonta recently recognized 356 students who have attained leadership milestones through the college's LEAD (Leadership Education and Development) program. LEAD@Oneonta is a comprehensive leadership program based on current research and guidelines from the Council for the Advancement of Standards in Higher Education. There are three levels of leadership certification: Silver, Gold and Platinum. To attain each level, students must meet a mix of programmatic and experiential leadership requirements

The State University of New York at Potsdam recognized more than 1,000 candidates for graduation during the College's 2015 Commencement celebrations. SUNY Potsdam honored students who either earned their degree or were eligible to graduate between December 2014 and December 2015.

Six SUNY Potsdam students were recently awarded the 2015 PACES Scholarships, by Potsdam Auxiliary and College Educational Services. PACES Scholarships are given to children of PACES employees or PACES student workers who apply and demonstrate notable achievement in academics and co-curricular activities. These scholarships are funded by PACES employee contributions and matched by the corporation.

More than 100 students attended the 28th Annual Harvey Delaney Leadership Institute from March 27-28 in the Hunt College Union. Designed to provide students with the tools to translate the leadership skills they have developed at Oneonta into skills that will benefit them in the workplace and/or graduate school, the program includes educational sessions, meals, a keynote speaker, and more than a dozen break-out sessions. It is named for former SUNY Oneonta Director of Activities and Student Association advisor Harvey Delaney, who chaired the college's Leadership Institute for many years.

The SUNY Geneseo chapter of the Golden Key International Honour Society recently inducted students into the organization during a campus ceremony. Juniors or seniors with a grade point average that places them in the top 15 percent of their class are eligible for membership. 

Forty-two members of SUNY Oneonta's Terpsichorean Dance Company represented the college at the annual Collegiate Dance Invitational in Cortland, NY, on Feb 21. At the competition, Terps members choreographed and performed in six group numbers, two duets and four solos. Three dances received first-place awards and another seven numbers brought home second- and third-place prizes.

SUNY New Paltz Congratulates 2014 Inductees of Lambda Pi Eta National Honor Society!

Students at Fairleigh Dickinson University's Florham Campus, located in Madison, NJ have been named to the Dean's and Honors Lists for the Fall 2014 semester. 

Nearly 200 SUNY Potsdam students completed internship placements at companies, non-profits or campus departments in Fall 2014. SUNY Potsdam's internship program places students with employers whose interests align with their studies. Each student intern has a faculty sponsor, and earns between 1 and 12 credits toward their degree requirements.

More than 1,425 students were named to The University of Scranton Dean's List, which recognizes students for academic excellence during the 2014 fall semester. A student must have a grade point average of 3.5 or better with a minimum number of credit hours to make the Dean's List.

Select students have been named to the Fall 2014 Dean's List at Roger Williams University in Bristol, R.I. Full-time students who complete 12 or more credits per semester and earn a GPA of 3.4 or higher are placed on the Dean's List that semester.

A total of 1431 SUNY Oneonta students earned Dean's List honors for the fall 2014 semester. To qualify for the Dean's List students must earn a grade point average of 3.5 or higher while carrying a course load of 12 hours or more.

The State University of New York at Geneseo has announced its Dean's List for the fall semester 2014. To be on the list, a student must have achieved at least a 3.5 grade point average while taking a minimum of 12 credit hours.

Students with a GPA of 3.5 or higher who have completed at least 12 credit hours qualify for the dean's list at Buffalo State. We are pleased to recognize the following students who attained this honor in the Fall 2014 semester.

The State University of New York at Geneseo has announced its President's List for the fall semester 2014. To be on the list, a student must have achieved an A in all coursework (4.0 grade point average) while taking at least 12 credit hours.

The State University of New York at New Paltz has announced its Dean's List for the fall 2014 semester. Dean's List designation is reserved for students who excel academically and earn at least a 3.3 grade-point average in a semester with a full-time course load.

To qualify for the Dean's List, students must have a semester grade point average of 3.50 or better and must have completed successfully all courses for which they were registered.

Dean's List honors are earned by undergraduate students who carry 12 or more credit hours and achieve a 3.5 grade point average or higher on the 4.0 scale.

The State University of New York at Potsdam recently named 925 students to the President's List, in recognition of their academic excellence in the Fall 2014 semester. The SUNY Potsdam students were honored for earning top marks by President Kristin G. Esterberg.

The Crane Symphony Orchestra from SUNY Potsdam's Crane School of Music has been invited to perform at the New York State School Music Association Winter Conference in Rochester, N.Y. Eighty students will present Edward Elgar's "Enigma Variations" on Thursday, Dec. 4, in the opening concert.

Eligible student-athletes must have a full year in residence at their institution and carry a 3.2 cumulative GPA into a season of competition.

The University of Scranton Announces Class of 2018 Presidential Scholars

Colgate University is proud to announce the Class of 2018.

Students at SUNY Potsdam's Crane School of Music will premiere the three winning operatic works of the Domenic J. Pellicciotti Opera Composition Prize next week. The student cast and crew will be able to meet the composers and librettists of the three winning works, "A Letter to East 11th Street," "In a Mirror, Darkly," and "The Fox and the Pomegranate." Performances are from Nov. 13 to Nov. 15 at 7:30 p.m. at The Crane School of Music.

The State University of New York at Potsdam has awarded scholarships, grants and awards to 998 students for the 2014-15 academic year. These accomplished SUNY Potsdam undergraduate and graduate students were recognized for their achievements with support for their educational experience.
